Warmth and elegance
The TOURAINE offers an ideal balance of comfort, warmth and elegance. Its 4-ply knit provides a soft and enveloping sensation, while its straight cut ensures a natural drape.
Its doubled crew neck provides a particularly refined finish and the 7 cm ribbed cuffs harmoniously define the silhouette. Easy to style, it pairs equally well with jeans, chinos or wool trousers.

The craftsmanship
Knitted in 4-ply, the cashmere reveals a generous, dense and particularly soft knit. This construction brings greater warmth and substance to the design while preserving the natural suppleness of the fibre.
The doubled crew neck requires precise craftsmanship to achieve a perfectly even neckline and excellent structure. The 7 cm ribbed cuffs at the wrists and hem define the silhouette and ensure a comfortable fit.
Every detail is crafted with care to preserve the quality of the drape and the longevity of the piece.
The First collection
The TOURAINE belongs to our First collection, a selection of designs crafted in limited editions from surplus new cashmere yarns, carefully sourced from specialist Nepalese spinning mills.
Since 2005, we have been working with our partners in Nepal, a country renowned for its ancestral expertise in working with cashmere and precious fibres.
We therefore purchase very small quantities of yarn, too limited for manufacturers working in large runs, yet perfectly suited to our expertise in handmade, small-batch production.
These materials are transformed in our workshop in Nepal, where each piece is handmade, to the same standards of craftsmanship, finishing and quality control as the rest of our collections.
This approach allows us to give value to existing yarns that might otherwise have remained unused, while offering cashmere creations at particularly considered prices.
This is what we at Mahogany call premium recycling: giving a new purpose to new materials already available, by transforming them by hand into exclusive creations produced in small quantities.
