The relaxed elegance of cashmere
The THOBIAS captivates through the balance between the softness of cashmere and a construction designed for everyday wear. Its straight cut ensures a natural and comfortable fit, while the double-zip fastening allows the wearer to easily adjust the style and adds a modern touch to the silhouette.
Its 1 × 1 ribbing of 7 cm at the cuffs and hem structures the garment and ensures a good fit. Easy to style, the THOBIAS can be worn just as easily with jeans for a relaxed look as with smarter trousers for a sport-chic silhouette.

The craftsmanship
Knitted in 2 plies, the cashmere offers a fine, supple and particularly soft knit. This weight allows the THOBIAS to retain a beautiful lightness while providing the comfort and natural warmth that are the hallmarks of this exceptional material.
The double-zip fastening is integrated with precision to ensure a smooth opening and an excellent line. It also allows the wearer to easily adjust the style of the gilet as desired.
The 1 × 1 ribbing of 7 cm at the cuffs and hem provides structure and support while preserving the natural comfort of the knit. Every detail is crafted with care to ensure a harmonious drape and lasting quality.
The First collection
The THOBIAS belongs to our First collection, a selection of models made in limited runs from surplus new cashmere yarns, carefully sourced from specialist Nepalese spinning mills.
Since 2005, we have worked with our partners in Nepal, a country renowned for its ancestral expertise in the working of cashmere and precious fibres.
We therefore purchase very small quantities of yarn, too limited to be used by manufacturers working in large runs, yet perfectly suited to our expertise in hand craftsmanship and small-batch production.
These materials are transformed in our workshop in Nepal, where each piece is made by hand, to the same exacting standards of construction, finishing and quality control as the rest of our collections.
This approach allows us to give value to existing yarns that might otherwise have remained unused, whilst offering cashmere creations at particularly considered prices.
This is what we at Mahogany call premium recycling: giving a new purpose to new materials already available, by transforming them by hand into exclusive creations produced in small quantities.
