The First collection
The TARRY belongs to our First collection, a selection of styles crafted in limited runs from surplus new cashmere yarn, carefully sourced from specialist Nepalese spinning mills.
Since 2005, we have been working with our partners in Nepal, a country renowned for its ancestral expertise in the craft of cashmere and precious fibres.
We purchase very small quantities of yarn, too limited to be used by manufacturers working on a large scale, yet perfectly suited to our expertise in handcrafted, small-batch production.
These materials are crafted in our workshop in Nepal, where each piece is made by hand, according to the same standards of construction, finishing and quality control as the rest of our collections.
This approach allows us to give new purpose to existing yarns that might otherwise have gone unused, while offering cashmere creations at particularly considered prices.
This is what we at Mahogany call premium recycling: giving a new purpose to new materials already available, by transforming them by hand into exclusive creations made in small quantities.
