An all-season essential

The TALINE is one of those little cardigans one always loves to have close at hand.

Its fine stitch allows it to be worn next to the skin as well as over a top, a T-shirt or a shirt. Its fitted cut naturally enhances the silhouette, while the 5 cm 1×1 rib at the cuffs and base adds structure and hold.

With jeans for a relaxed look, or a skirt or more tailored trousers, it adapts effortlessly to any style. Light and compact, it also slips easily into a bag for cooler evenings.

The First collection

The TALINE belongs to our First collection, a selection of 20 100% cashmere styles crafted in limited runs and offered at particularly considered prices.

To create this collection, we source small surpluses of new cashmere yarn from specialist spinning mills, whose quality meets our exacting standards.

These quantities are too limited for large-scale industrial production, but perfectly suited to our expertise in small-batch production.

We are thus able to give new purpose to existing yarns that might otherwise have remained unused and transform them into new pieces in our usual workshop, to the same standards of construction, finishing and quality control as the rest of our collections.

This is what we at Mahogany call premium recycling: not making something new from something old, but creating something new from new materials already available.

The craftsmanship

2-ply cashmere offers an ideal balance of fineness, softness and lightness. It is particularly well suited to a cardigan such as the TALINE, designed to be worn effortlessly across the seasons and as a layering piece.

The 5 cm 1×1 rib at the cuffs and base structures the stitch and enhances the fitted cut without compromising its suppleness.

Like all pieces from the First collection, the TALINE is crafted with the same care as our permanent collections.

Limited edition

The particularity of the First collection lies in the limited quantities of yarn available. The TALINE is therefore offered in limited stock and may not necessarily be restocked once quantities are exhausted.
