The DONOVAN PREMIUM retains the timeless spirit of the half-zip jumper while offering a particularly refined cashmere experience. Its four-ply knit provides generous warmth and remarkable comfort, while its straight fit ensures a natural, elegant drape.

Its YKK steel zip provides a premium finish and smooth ease of use, perfectly in keeping with the standards of the Premium collection. The 9 cm 1 × 1 ribbed trims at the cuffs and hem structure the silhouette harmoniously and ensure an excellent fit.

Easy to style, the DONOVAN PREMIUM can be worn with jeans or chinos for a relaxed look, or with wool trousers for a more sophisticated silhouette.

Craftsmanship

With the Premium collection, we enter the world of the most exacting cashmeres. The DONOVAN PREMIUM is crafted from an exceptional fibre that meets the standards of the finest specialist houses.

The selected fibre measures just 13 to 14 microns. Sourced from the first combing of young cashmere goats, it is among the finest fibres in the world. By comparison, premium cashmere generally measures around 15.5 microns, while more standard cashmere reaches 16.5 to 17 microns. The finer the fibre, the softer and more delicate the feel.

This quality is particularly rare: a young goat yields only around 30 grams of this precious fibre, compared with 100 to 200 grams for an adult goat. Worldwide, only a few dozen tonnes of this quality are available each year.

The fibre also has an average length of 36 mm, a characteristic that helps limit pilling and promotes excellent durability. Its natural colour, known as “extra white”, allows shades to be rendered with great purity, without using bleaching agents that could alter the natural qualities of cashmere.

Its manufacture meets our most exacting standards: hand knitting, hand-finishing of the collar and individual quality control. Each stage is carried out with the utmost care to preserve the softness, consistency and exceptional quality of this material.

A naturally rare material

The rarity of this quality of cashmere is naturally reflected in the available volumes. With only a few dozen tonnes of this fibre produced worldwide each year, this material remains particularly precious.
