Cashmere is a natural fibre that benefits from regular care. Contrary to popular belief, water is good for it: frequent washing helps to preserve its softness, suppleness and beauty over time.
- Hand wash or, preferably, machine wash on a wool or delicate cycle.
- Place your garment in a washing bag to protect it from friction against the drum.
- Use a small amount of specialist wool detergent or our Shampoo.
- Wash in lukewarm water, 30 °C maximum.
- Do not rub or wring the knit.
- Gently spin (600 rpm maximum in the machine), then lay flat to dry flat on a terry towel, away from any heat source.
- Iron on the reverse side using the wool, never ironing the ribbed edges.
- Store your garment carefully folded, ideally in a protective cover.
Cashmere loves water: regular care helps to durably preserve all the qualities of this exceptional fibre.
