The craftsmanship
With the Premium collection, the House addresses the most discerning connoisseurs and those in search of cashmere's rarest qualities.
Our Premium cashmere comes from the first combing of young goats. The selected fibres measure just 13 to 14 microns, an exceptional fineness that imparts a particularly delicate softness to the touch. By way of comparison, a classic high-end cashmere typically measures around 15.5 microns, while a more standard cashmere reaches approximately 16.5 to 17 microns.
This particularly rare fibre is also available in very limited quantities worldwide. A young goat yields only around 30 grams of this precious material, compared with 100 to 200 grams for an adult goat. Only a few dozen tonnes of this quality are available each year across the world.
The average fibre length of 36 mm naturally helps to limit pilling and ensures excellent longevity. Their naturally extra-white colour also allows for particularly pure shades to be achieved, without the use of bleaching agents that might compromise the natural qualities of the fibre.
This exceptional material is then worked to the most exacting standards of the House. The knitting, the hand-finished details and the individual quality control each receive particular attention to preserve the full fineness, evenness and softness of the cashmere.
